This is the place to get your weird Wisconsin food! Cheap prices for high quality cheese, good ice cream and funny decor.
Check out the beer pancake batter and give that to your bro-yist friend who will appreciate that he/she is now sharing breakfast with many middle aged suburban families while consuming beer.
And, oh jeez, get some rhubarb jam.
Small store in a smallish town that does a great job with cheese. The two ladies that have helped me here in the past have been extremely helpful.
The store features the aforementioned cheeses, as well as crafted items (think of your favorite aunt's kitchen decor), coffee, tea, wine and other local Wisconsin food stuffs.
This is one of a pretty nice handful of stores in the Stoughton area that make up a great strip of locally owned spots. It's a great example of why it's better to spend a couple bucks more to keep locations like this thriving instead of saving a couple bucks at Whole Foods.
Great place, adorable store, friendly service, wide variety of cheeses.
Love the ice cream and all the other things you can buy there. I often take my out town guests to stock up on cheese and this is always the place they wish to go.
This shop is 5 star! My favorite thing they carry is the fresh Wisconsin cheese curds, a delight from my childhood. I confess I'm often so blinded by excitement over the cheese curds that I have failed to branch out and try many of the other cheeses they offer, but their blueberry cheese is fun and different! Whenever I visit, I try to stop in and get my cheese curd fix, and this trip I called ahead of time to see when they get a fresh shipment of curds. I am taking some back home with me to introduce them to friends who are "cheese curd virigins" and wanted them as fresh as possible! They happily told me the days and times they get their shipments. What customer service! Cheesers is not to be missed!
